Job Title: Logistics & Purchase Coordinator

Location: Dammam, KSA

Department: Service

Job Purpose:
  • Co-ordination of inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing & distribution of import components and assembled cranes. Inventory movements and control. Will be responsible for the inventory management of Industrial cranes and components.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Logistics behind import of components, warehousing, storage & distribution, export of assembled cranes (cross border), local transport & delivery of cranes to site within KSA.
  • Maintaining the truck schedules & dispatch load lists
  • Stock movement of inventory & maintaining stock reports
  • Monthly stock reconciliation with third party warehouse
  • Quarterly, half yearly & year end stock audits with accounts
  • Liaison with customers in opening letter of credit
  • Preparation & submission of LC documents to file the claims
  • Local Purchase (LPO) for services & consumables.
  • Delivery Plans and Delivery Performance reports.
Operating Environment:
  • Requires coordination skills for vendor/supplier management.
  • Coordinating with custom departments in UAE & KSA for the documentations and logistics requirements.
  • Custom documentations and invoicing.
Communication and Working Relationship:
  • Coordinate with all departments for providing timely services to the customer.
  • Coordinate with the clients for the timely delivery.
  • Liaison with clearing and forwarding agents
Framework, Boundaries & Decision Making
  • Monitoring the inventory and reporting monthly closing values.
  • Verifying the order confirmation for compliance and timely follow up on deliveries
  • Checking the incoming orders for total compliance on commercial terms
  • Sales invoicing and payment follow ups
Qualification, Experience & Skills

a. Education
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Logistics Management or related studies.
b. Job specific skills
  • Minimum 3 years to 5 years experience in logistics coordination
c. Language Skills
  • Fluency in English language (written & verbal)
  • Arabic (written & verbal)
Behavioural Skills
  • Must be willing to work beyond call of duty
  • Must be aware of the custom regulations in UAE & KSA.
  • Interdepartmental coordination.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Logistics behind time bound deliveries & related performance V/s committed dates
  • Quality of dispatch load lists & intimation/notification to consignee on dispatches and getting acknowledgements
  • Clarity of Inventory held at multiple warehouse & locations
  • Smooth realization of credits against established
